Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years Practitioner looking for your next opportunity? We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Frome, Somerset, seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the early development of young children within a supportive and child-centred environment.
Available Hours
08.30-17.30 or 09.00-15.00 flexible on days.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Create a safe, stimulating and engaging environment for children.
- Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress.
- Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met.
- Contribute to planning exciting activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable).
- Has previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Understands safeguarding responsibilities and child welfare practices.
