Early Years Practitioner

A welcoming and well-established mainstream primary school in Balham is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their nursery team on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years professional who is committed to providing outstanding care and education for young children in a nurturing and engaging learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support children's development through play-based learning, helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom where every child can thrive.

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday)

• Term time only

• Working hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm

• Long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent

• Based within a supportive and inclusive mainstream primary school in Balham

• Immediate or September start available

The school is looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working within an Early Years setting

• Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable)

• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework

• Is caring, patient and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development

• Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Is reliable, proactive and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team

• A friendly and supportive leadership team

• Well-resourced Early Years provision
