Early Years Practitioner 

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Practitioner  to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and safe environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, fostering positive interactions, and ensuring each child's individual needs are met. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for childcare, communication skills, and relevant nursery experience.

This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning journeys while working within a collaborative team committed to high standards of care. Option to work either Term time only, or all year round. 

Duties

• Support the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Assist in supervising children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
• Support management in implementing early childhood education best practices and curriculum planning.
• Contribute to the management of daily routines and assist with administrative tasks related to childcare documentation.
• Requirements
• Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles and childcare best practices.
• Relevant childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare). Or BA in Early Years Education from Uk or Overseas. Or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification
• Passionate about early childhood education with a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment.
