This full-time position has the potential to pay on the Main Pay Scale (MPS) for long-term candidates. However, if you are looking for short-term flexibility, we also offer daily supply roles paying £130 - £160 per day for candidates who prefer day-to-day work or as a fallback option while permanent posts settle. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an ECT looking to develop your portfolio in education and training, Academics provides dedicated local support.

Core Responsibilities

As a dedicated Early Years Teacher, you will guide children through key developmental milestones:

• EYFS Planning: Deliver engaging indoor and outdoor continuous provision aligned with statutory frameworks.
• Early Literacy & Numeracy: Lead creative phonics and baseline maths sessions in an inclusive Ellesmere Port classroom.
• Child Tracking: Conduct formative assessments to track learning journeys and share progress with parents in Ellesmere Port.
• Inclusive Nurture: Foster emotional confidence and positive behaviour through child-centred education and training.

Candidate Requirements

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent early childhood credential.
• Demonstrable experience working as an Early Years Teacher in Nursery or Reception settings.
• A strong commitment to personal development and ongoing professional education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one via Academics).
