About the Role

Teach Now is seeking a creative and nurturing Early Years Teacher for a diverse primary school in Harrow.

The school serves a vibrant community and places particular value on communication, language development and ensuring every child feels known and included. You will join a collaborative EYFS team and take responsibility for creating an engaging Reception environment where children can learn through structured teaching, purposeful play and exploration.

The role would suit a teacher who enjoys bringing learning to life and understands how important the first year of school is in establishing confidence, routines and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum.
  • Develop children’s early reading, phonics and number skills.
  • Create purposeful continuous provision.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress accurately.
  • Identify children who may require additional support.
  • Maintain close communication with parents and carers.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider EYFS team.
Requirements
  • QTS.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework.
  • Experience teaching within Reception or Early Years.
  • Good knowledge of systematic synthetic phonics.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
