Salary: £40,372–£59,864 per year, M1–UPS3
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

A creative and child-centred primary school in Greenwich is seeking an accomplished Early Years Teacher to join its Reception team. The school believes that excellent early education combines secure routines, rich conversation and carefully planned opportunities for children to explore.
This Early Years Teacher role offers collaborative planning and a well-developed indoor and outdoor curriculum. The successful teacher will use precise observation and assessment while keeping play, curiosity and wellbeing central to the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Plan purposeful continuous provision and focused teaching
Establish strong foundations in phonics, language and early mathematics
Use observations to assess progress and plan next steps
Support smooth transitions and positive learning behaviours
Deploy teaching assistants effectively and work closely with families
Ensure provision is inclusive, safe and responsive to individual needs
We are seeking:
UK QTS and recent Nursery or Reception teaching experience
Thorough knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
Strong early reading, assessment and classroom-practice skills
A warm, organised and reflective approach
The right to work in the UK
