We are recruiting a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting, helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children and can provide nurturing support both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you are an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, graduate, or someone looking to begin a career in education, we would love to hear from you.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years learning activities
• Working with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to support their learning and development
• Encouraging children's social, emotional, language, and physical development through play-based learning
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting children with daily routines and promoting independence
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Assisting with the school's after-school club on some days, helping to provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children at the end of the school day

We're Looking For:

• Experience working with young children in an Early Years, nursery, or primary school setting is desirable
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children and colleagues
• Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
