Early Years Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £480 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
A Primary School situated in the West End of Newcastle are looking to employ an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work full-time from September 2026. The successful TA will be working as part of a dedicated team to offer a mix of general and 1:1 support alongside the class teacher and other support staff. This is a long-term role, likely to continue for the full academic year, with potential to turn permanent. A Level 3 TA Qualification is essential for this role.
Requirements
The desired Teaching Assistant will:
- Have experience of supporting in Early Years.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Be able to support pupils through offering differentiated learning.
- Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Have excellent knowledge of supporting children with SEND.
