Teaching Personnel are currently seeking enthusiastic and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools and nurseries in Lancaster and the surrounding areas, starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their educational journey. You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children aged 0–5.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
- Assist with the development of communication, social, and motor skills
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
- Support children with personal care where necessary
- Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for early years education
- A Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification is desirable, but not essential for candidates with relevant experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
