A welcoming early years setting is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children in Nursery and Reception. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and feel settled in their early education journey.
You will work closely with the class teacher and wider team to support children's learning, play, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
Experience working with young children in an early years or childcare setting.
A warm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to support learning through play and routine.
Enhanced DBS and references.
Key responsibilities:
Support children in Nursery and Reception during lessons and play-based activities.
Help promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
Support the class teacher with learning activities and routines.
Work with individuals and small groups where needed.
Encourage children's social, emotional, and educational development.
