At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing training provider for a passionate Early Years Trainer, Tutor, or Assessor to join their expanding team. This is teaching apprenticeships for learners who work in Nursery.
This is a face-to-face training role with travel required to support apprentices and employers across Coventry and surrounding areas. You will play a key role in delivering Early Years apprenticeship programmes across levels 2 to 5, supporting learners through structured training, assessment and coaching to help them achieve successful outcomes.
What you will be doing:
• Deliver Early Years apprenticeship training across levels 2 to 5 in a classroom and workplace setting
• Plan and deliver structured schemes of work, lesson plans, and learning resources
• Carry out face to face training sessions for groups of apprentices 3 days per week and then 2 days a week with the learners in the workplace and admin days
• Support learners to develop occupational skills, knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor apprentice progress and provide regular feedback and tutorials
• Liaise with employers to support workplace development and progress
• Embed Math’s, English and professional behaviours into delivery
• Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate tracking, records and progress reports
• Use digital learning platforms and online tools to support delivery
• Review and evaluate learner progress against apprenticeship standards
• Motivate and support apprentices to achieve timely completion
What we are looking for:
• Strong background in early years care and practice
• Experience delivering vocational training, teaching or assessing learners at level 3
• Ability to engage and motivate learners in a face to face environment
• Strong organisation, planning and communication skills
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
Desirable:
• Any Teaching qualification or Assessor qualification such as CAVA, TAQA or equivalent
• Knowledge of Early Years apprenticeship standards
Salary and benefits:
• Salary £28,000 to £30,110 per annum
