Earthworks Agent

We are seeking an experienced PTS Agent to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering rail infrastructure works. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a complex project involving significant earthworks, geotechnical and civil engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple work fronts.
• Lead and coordinate earthworks and civil engineering activities.
• Oversee vegetation clearance, excavation and bulk earthworks operations.
• Manage soil nailing and slope stabilisation works.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and labour resources.
• Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards, project specifications and quality requirements.
• Produce and review RAMS, permits and site documentation.
• Support commercial and programme objectives while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a PTS Agent, Site Agent or Sub Agent on rail infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in earthworks, vegetation clearance, geotechnical works and soil nailing.
• Valid PTS certification.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements within a rail environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
