Rate: £250 -£270 Per day
We are currently looking for an experienced Earthworks Supervisor to join a busy construction project.
Duties- Supervising earthworks and groundworks operations on site
- Managing and coordinating groundworkers and plant operators
- Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to specification
- Setting out and checking levels where required
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
- Coordinating plant, labour and materials
- Ensuring health & safety and site procedures are followed
- Completing relevant site paperwork and daily records
- Previous experience as an Earthworks Supervisor / Groundworks Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, excavation, grading and levels
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS Supervisor Card
- CPCS / NPORS advantageous where relevant
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Reliable and able to manage a team effectively
- Relevant site experience with a strong understanding of RAMS and health & safety
