We are working on behalf of a market-leading global organisation specialising in water and wastewater treatment solutions. Due to continued project growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced EC&I Engineer to support the delivery of complex projects across the UK.



The Role

Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will support the electrical, control and instrumentation design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and reviewing electrical, control and instrumentation designs.
  • Producing technical documentation, including schematics, specifications and control philosophies.
  • Supporting design reviews, technical assessments and project planning.
  • Working alongside mechanical, process and commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Providing technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.


Candidate Profile

  • HNC / HND / degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in an EC&I engineering role, within the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
  • Experience producing and reviewing technical engineering documentation.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


Package & Benefits

  • Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience.
  • Company car or cash allowance (£6,000 annually).
  • 37-hour working week.
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the Birmingham office, 2 days from home.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + your birthday off.
