An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist to join a growing, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality ecological services across the UK. Based near Northampton, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Ecologist looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team.

The successful Ecologist will work on a wide variety of development projects, undertaking protected species surveys, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs), habitat assessments, report writing and supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects. You will manage your own workload while receiving ongoing support and mentoring from experienced colleagues, working alongside specialists in landscape, arboriculture, archaeology and planning. Requirements:

• Experience carrying out PEA surveys and ecological report writing
• Membership of CIEEM or working towards membership
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients
• Live in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Northampton office
