The Consultant Ecologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a range of projects from early-stage planning through to delivery and long-term habitat management. The role will provide exposure to BNG, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessments and protected species surveys.

Requirements:

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Professional ecology consultancy experience
• Experience undertaking ecological surveys and assessments
• Knowledge of UK ecology and relevant legislation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Edinburgh office
• Desirable - protected species licenses + CIEEM membership
