An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist to join an established, award-winning multidisciplinary environmental consultancy in Cardiff. The company works across ecology, environmental planning, landscape architecture, arboriculture and natural resource management, delivering projects across the UK.

The Consultant Ecologist will work on a varied portfolio of projects, supporting ecological surveys, impact assessments, protected species work, mitigation and planning, while collaborating with other environmental professionals.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Previous ecological consultancy experience
• Strong knowledge of UK ecology, protected species and relevant legislation
• Experience undertaking surveys and producing ecological reports
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of Cardiff
