Education Recruitment Consultant in Bickley, Greater London

About the role

Classroom Support places teaching assistants and SEND support staff in schools across London and Kent. We have signed agreements with some of the largest trusts in the region, and we are adding two recruiters to the team who will each take on a patch of their own.

Two consultants joined us last June and have grown their patches quickly. One reached their first target inside four months and the other is close behind, both ahead of schedule.

Your job is to become the person a group of schools rings first when a child needs support in the classroom. You will speak to school leaders and SENCOs every day, visit schools, register strong candidates and match them to the right booking. We want every pupil to have the best support on a Monday morning, and your work decides whether that happens.

Who we are looking for

• Experienced recruiters, ideally from education or another people focused sector, who are ready for a patch of their own and a clear route to more.
• Graduates and career changers with a record of hard work, whether that was a job alongside your studies, sport or a family business. How you have worked matters more to us than what you studied.
• Experience in sales, or a clear wish to move into it. You will be comfortable on the phone and keen to speak to a lot of people each day.
• Experience in education or SEND is a plus, though it is not essential.
• A wish to take on a challenge. The first months are hard work while you build your client base.
