Educational Psychologist (Remote) – North Yorkshire

Location: Remote
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (6 Months)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm)
Start Date: 27th July 2026
End Date: 20th January 2027
IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Apricus Resourcing is currently recruiting for an experienced Educational Psychologist to support a local authority in North Yorkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work fully remotely, completing statutory assessments while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing high-quality statutory Educational Psychology assessments in line with SEND legislation and local authority requirements. The role offers flexibility with all work being carried out remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete statutory Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments.

  • Produce high-quality psychological advice and reports within agreed timescales.

  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, SEN teams and other professionals.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all work complies with statutory guidance and professional standards.

  • Manage your own caseload effectively while meeting deadlines.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Educational Psychologist.

  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • Previous experience completing statutory Educational Psychology assessments.

  • Strong report writing and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Profesional Indemnity Insurance
