The role - Educational Psychologist
We are looking for a Maingrade Educational Psychologist to support children, young people, families and schools across a diverse London borough.
You will have your own group of schools, developing strong relationships and partnership working, while also contributing to wider areas including:
- Emotional health and wellbeing
- Trauma-informed practice
- Autism and neurodiversity
- Barriers to school attendance
- Mental health
- Behaviour support
- Multi-agency projects
The role involves visiting schools and other settings both within and outside the borough.
About you
You will need:
- A professional qualification in Educational Psychology.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
Trainee Educational Psychologists due to qualify in September 2026 or 2027 are also welcome to apply, subject to successful completion of their training and HCPC registration.
We particularly welcome multilingual candidates who can contribute to the service's diverse community.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check with adult and child barred lists and satisfactory safer recruitment checks.
