WeDo Social Work is recruiting for an experienced EHCP Officer to join a busy SEND service on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SEND professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs.
The RoleYou will manage a caseload of EHCPs, ensuring assessments, reviews and amendments are completed accurately and within statutory timescales.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of EHCP assessments and reviews
- Coordinating advice from education, health and social care professionals
- Working closely with families, schools and other stakeholders
- Preparing and amending EHCPs
- Ensuring statutory deadlines are met
- Maintaining accurate case records
- Supporting effective communication and positive outcomes for children and young people
We're looking for someone with:
✅ Previous experience as an EHCP Officer / SEND Case Officer
✅ Strong knowledge of the EHCP process and SEND legislation
✅ Excellent organisation and case-management skills
✅ Experience working to statutory deadlines
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
✅ Local authority SEND experience is highly desirable
