About the electrical fitter role
We are seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our market-leading and rapidly growing manufacturing company in Derby. You will assist with the manufacture of specialist vehicles, focusing on electrical systems and installations.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience in electrics in the capacity of automotive, plant, CCTV, HVAC, Motorbikes, LED Lighting etc. Full training will be provided so direct vehicle experience is not essential. It would also suit newly qualified electricians looking to build a career in the industry.

Key Responsibilities of the electrical fitter

• Running wiring looms through vehicles
• Install 12v and 24v electrical systems during van fit-outs
• Wiring and fitting looms, fuse boxes, relays, and control panels
• Splicing, trunking, and soldering
• Working from wiring diagrams and build specifications

The successful electrical fitter candidate may have the following experience

• Knowledge of 12v and 24v vehicle electrical systems
• Electrical Fitter Engineer
• Auto Electrician
• CCTV/Alarm Engineer
• Telematics Engineer

Or hold relevant NVQ qualifications / time-served experience.
