Electrical Assembler in Glossop, Derbyshire

We’re looking for an Electrical Assembler to join an established manufacturing business in Glossop.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous electrical assembly or electronics manufacturing experience, working with components, wiring and assemblies in a production environment.

What’s on offer?

• £14.00 per hour
• Monday – Thursday | 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday | 8:30am – 2:00pm

What will you be doing as an Electrical Assembler?

• Assembling electrical and electronic components
• Wiring components and completing electrical connections
• Following drawings, diagrams and assembly instructions
• Fitting components into finished assemblies
• Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
• Carrying out visual inspections and basic quality checks
• Checking completed assemblies against required specifications
• Identifying and reporting assembly or component issues
• Maintaining accurate production standards
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe

What will you need?

• Previous experience in electrical assembly, electronic assembly or a similar production role
• Confidence working with small electrical/electronic components and wiring
• Ability to follow drawings, diagrams and work instructions
• Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Comfortable using hand tools within a manufacturing environment
