Electrical Assembler

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our client's team. The role involves building, wiring and testing LV distribution and MCCB panels to relevant electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and test LV distribution and MCCB panels to BS EN 61439 and BS 7671.
• Read and work from electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Select and check components before each build.
• Build wiring looms using cable crimping tools.
• Carry out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing.
• Fault find and rectify wiring and assembly issues.

About You

• Strong previous experience in LV panel building / panel wiring.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Previous LV panel testing experience.
• 18th Edition knowledge is desirable.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literate.

Working Hours & Salary

• Monday – Thursday: 7:25am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 1:10pm
• £12.71 - £13.31 per hour DOE
