Location: Middleton, Manchester (M24)
Pay Rate: From £12.71ph - £13.50ph
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–4:30pm, Friday finish at 1:15pm
Job Type: 12-Week Temp-to-Perm

Metalis Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Trainee Electrical Assembler to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into the engineering industry, with full training provided and no previous experience required.

Our client is looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and genuinely keen to learn. Your attitude and willingness to develop are more important than previous experience, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into engineering.

The Role:

• Assisting with the assembly of electrical products and components.
• Learning how to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Following instructions and developing practical assembly skills.
• Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Working alongside experienced team members to learn the role.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For:

• No previous electrical or engineering experience required.
• Someone motivated, enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• A hands-on approach with a genuine interest in engineering.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• A reliable attitude, good timekeeping and a strong work ethic.
• Someone willing to learn, develop and build a long-term career.

What's On Offer?

• Pay rates starting from £12.71ph - £13.00 per hour.
• Full training provided – no experience necessary.
• Monday to Friday working, with an early finish every Friday at 1:15pm.
• A 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
