Electrical CAD Engineer

Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as an Electrical CAD Engineer:
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand technical requirements thoroughly and support the team to ensure their understanding of the project specification.
- Deliver high quality drawing packages including schematics, general arrangements and wiring diagrams.
- Follow established technical specifications to prepare drawings to a high standard of accuracy.
- Consult with engineers regarding model accuracy, design and drafting standards.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and in keeping within company guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years electrical design experience
- Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
- Strong understanding of electrical principles
- Understanding of 3 Phase electricity is desirable
- Excellent eye for detail
The Electrical CAD Engineer role:
- Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
- Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
