Electrical Construction Manager in London, Greater London

Location: West London
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + package

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Construction Manager to join an established M&E contractor delivering major rail and commercial fit-out projects across West London.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction management, with proven experience delivering commercial fit-out projects as well as rail projects.

• Manage and oversee electrical works from pre-construction through to completion.

• Lead electrical site teams, subcontractors, engineers and supervisors.

• Coordinate electrical installations with mechanical, construction and project teams.

• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, programmes and technical documentation.

• Manage project progress, programme and site coordination.

• Coordinate labour, materials, plant and specialist resources.

• Manage technical queries, RFIs and coordination requirements.

• Attend site and project meetings, providing regular progress updates.

• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety, quality and environmental requirements.

• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.

• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Project Manager, Electrical Site Manager or similar.

• Strong commercial fit-out experience is essential.

• Previous rail project experience is essential.

• Proven experience managing electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and construction processes.

• Experience managing subcontractors, engineers and site teams.

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

• Experience taking projects through installation, testing, commissioning and handover.

• Relevant electrical qualifications or equivalent industry experience.

• SMSTS and relevant CSCS/ECS qualifications.

• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.

• £70,000 – £80,000 salary, depending on experience.
