We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major project at Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project, overseeing the successful delivery of electrical building services installations from construction through to commissioning and handover.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, health & safety and client satisfaction are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for managing all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Working closely with project managers, design teams, QA/QC engineers, commissioning managers and subcontractors, you will lead the electrical package from installation through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of electrical building services installations.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors and site teams.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to manage inspections, snagging and project handover.
• Attend site progress meetings and coordinate activities with the wider M&E delivery team.
• Review drawings, technical documentation and installation sequences.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Support commissioning activities and practical completion.
• Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Site Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor on large-scale M&E construction projects.
• Strong background in Electrical Building Services installations.
• Experience delivering commercial, infrastructure, aviation, pharmaceutical or data centre projects.
• Excellent knowledge of construction sequencing, quality assurance and commissioning processes.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast-paced programmes.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Previous Heathrow Airport experience.
• Aviation or secure environment experience.
• Experience working under strict health & safety and security procedures.
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes and project handover documentation.
