Electrical Construction Manager – Data Centre – Blyth

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Blyth, Northumberland.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery Oversight

• Lead the electrical installation works on a new build data centre, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and programme requirements.

Coordination & Interface Management

• Manage interfaces between electrical systems (LV, MV, HV, UPS, generators, switchgear, and critical infrastructure) and other trades, ensuring seamless integration across MEP and architectural packages.

Quality & Compliance

• Oversee testing, commissioning, and QA/QC procedures for all electrical systems, ensuring adherence to client, statutory, and industry standards.

Team & Subcontractor Management

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor subcontractor performance, managing resources and sequencing to meet fast-track project milestones.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with project management, planners, and commercial teams, providing technical input and progress updates to client representatives.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)

Must be based within a commutable distance of Blyth, Northumberland

£80,000 - £90,000 + Package
