Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing family-run M&E contractors, delivering high-quality and sustainable building services solutions across the residential sector for over 50 years. Their Residential Division continues to secure major apartment, mixed-use and high-rise residential developments with leading developers and main contractors.

Following another successful year, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Construction Manager to join their expanding residential team. Despite their continued success, they have maintained the values of a family-run business, with over 80% of their work coming from repeat clients, a testament to the quality of their delivery and long-standing relationships.


Role & Responsibilities

·      Oversee the electrical installation on residential developments from first fix through to handover.

·      Review design drawings, identify scope gaps and coordinate design clashes.

·      Produce and manage short-term programmes to ensure project milestones are achieved.

·      Manage Health & Safety on site, including RAMS and safe systems of work.

·      Prepare and review technical submissions and procurement schedules.

·      Manage RFIs with the design team and client.

·      Coordinate electrical subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme.

·      Liaise with the client, main contractor, consultants and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.

·      Attend and lead progress meetings with subcontractors, professional teams and client representatives.

The Ideal Candidate

·      Qualified electrician with a strong technical understanding of electrical building services.

·      Previous experience managing electrical packages on residential developments, including apartments, high-rise or mixed-use schemes.

·      Experience delivering electrical packages with values of £2m+.

·      Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Electrical Construction Manager or equivalent management role.

·      Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills with the ability to drive programme and quality on site.
