Electrical Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Law Firm – Liverpool Street – Up to £55,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Day Shift Engineer to work for an established FM service provider at a prestigious commercial law firm near Liverpool Street Station.

Working as part of a small on-site team of two engineers, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and general building services.

Hours of Work:
  • 4 on 4 off / 6 on 4 off / 4 on 6 off
  • 07:00 – 19:00
  • Days only

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Lighting maintenance, fault finding, small installations and power distribution.
  • Emergency lighting testing and maintenance.
  • Maintain AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and basic servicing.
  • Carry out chiller resets and first-line fault finding.
  • Monitor and maintain pumps, motors and associated mechanical plant.
  • Carry out water temperature checks and basic plumbing maintenance.
  • Monitor plant and equipment through the BMS.
  • Diagnose and resolve building services faults.
  • Escort and coordinate specialist subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate site and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety requirements.
  • Liaise professionally with the client and site management.

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification – City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven commercial building maintenance experience.
  • Experience within large commercial or critical environments.
  • Good multi-skilled knowledge across building services.
  • Strong fault-finding and client-facing skills.
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates.
  • Must be able to attend site for a 07:00 start.
