Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be supporting the team in delivering exceptional electrical design solutions across a range of projects.
 
 
You will be:
 
·Taking ownership of high-quality electrical designs and specifications, ensuring they meet client requirements and project briefs
·Providing expert technical advice across electrical building services engineering
·Supporting and contributing to project design meetings
·Working closely with clients, architects, contractors and wider project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful project delivery
·Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documentation
·Ensuring electrical designs comply with relevant building regulations, industry standards and internal design requirements
·Championing sustainable electrical design solutions and identifying opportunities to improve project performance
 
You will:
 
·Hold a degree in Electrical Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
·Be a member of CIBSE or the IET
·Be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
·Have strong technical knowledge and proven experience within electrical building services engineering
·Have a good understanding of relevant electrical regulations, standards and design principles
·Have experience producing electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation
·Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Be confident communicating complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
·Have experience applying quality procedures and document control within an engineering design environment
·Be proactive, collaborative and comfortable taking ownership of your work
