This role is to join an established building services design consultancy who as a business cover a range of project types including education, heritage, offices, hospitals, local authority and data centres, although this position be focused on data centres

Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include involvement in the full cycle of projects from client briefs and planning, though to design and supervision and finally completion.
- Dependent on your level you will be developing conceptual & detailed design solutions in line with client’s brief or working alongside senior engineers gaining experience.
- Carrying out the detailed electrical services design and calculations using HevaComp, Amtech, IES, Dialux and/or similar design software tools.
- Production/writing of electrical specifications, schedules, reports and technical papers.
- Dependent on your experience level you will represent the business alone or attend with a more senior engineer to develop your experience at a wide range of meetings from client, design team and site.
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree / HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering, preferred although not essential
- Design experience in electrical building design systems.
- Experience of datacentre design
- Confident user of a range of software such as Amtech, Dialux or Relux.
- An enthusiasm for continued learning and development would be beneficial
