Electrical Engineer

Electrician, Prestwick, £840.00 basic per week, OT Paid at 1.5x, 40 hours per week, Temporary to Permanent

• Regular 1-week shift rotation

Responsibilities

• Shift Times: Early: 5:30am–2:30pm | Late: 9:00pm–6:00am
• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
• Diagnose, fault-find and repair industrial equipment
• Maintain control panels, wiring, motors and electrical systems
• Maintain plant machinery including conveyors, process machinery and steam boilers
• Complete electrical installation and system upgrade work
• Respond efficiently to breakdowns and minimise production downtime

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer
• Experience within FMCG, automated manufacturing or industrial environments
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Recognised Electrical NVQ qualification
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work rotating early and late shifts
