Electrician – Commercial & Residential Projects

The Role

Working across a variety of commercial and residential environments, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and fault-finding electrical systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current regulations.

You'll be involved in new installations, lighting upgrades, small power works, testing and inspection, and will work closely with both clients and project managers to deliver exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems in accordance with the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Carry out fault finding, repairs and upgrades on existing electrical installations.
• Install lighting, small power, containment and associated electrical systems.
• Conduct site surveys independently or alongside clients to understand project requirements.
• Provide accurate survey information and technical recommendations to Contracts Managers.
• Deliver professional advice and solutions to both clients and internal teams.
• Work with lighting control systems, including DALI and Ex-Or.
• Ensure all work complies with current legislation, NICEIC standards and company procedures.
• Maintain excellent workmanship and customer service to encourage repeat business.

Excellent knowledge of electrical installations within commercial and residential properties.

Essential Qualifications

• BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds Electrical Installation Qualification
• City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing
• Valid CSCS Card

Desirable

• Knowledge of NICEIC requirements.
• Experience with DALI and Ex-Or lighting control systems.
