KPI Recruiting is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a competent and experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrician to work in Deeside.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical inspection, testing, fault finding, and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations and site safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.

  • Inspection & Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent).

  • Valid CSCS Card (must be in date).

  • Own calibrated test equipment capable of:

    • Insulation Resistance (IR) Testing

    • Continuity Testing

    • Loop Impedance Testing

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation, inspection, and testing works.

  • Perform fault finding and diagnostic activities.

  • Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and site procedures.

  • Complete and maintain accurate testing and inspection documentation.

  • Adhere to all site health and safety requirements.
