Location: Farringdon, London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | Split Shift Pattern (7:00am–4:00pm & 10:00am–7:00pm)
Electrical Engineer – Farringdon – Up to £50,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in Farringdon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive two-person onsite engineering team, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across building services systems.
- Complete statutory compliance checks and ensure all work is carried out safely.
- Support minor mechanical maintenance where required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.
- Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Participate in the on-call rota.
Requirements
- Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience working within commercial building maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small onsite team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Split Shift Pattern:
- 7:00am – 4:00pm
- 10:00am – 7:00pm
Call-Out
- 1 in 3 week call-out rota.
- £100 standby payment plus any applicable overtime.
