Location: Farringdon, London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | Split Shift Pattern (7:00am–4:00pm & 10:00am–7:00pm)

Electrical Engineer – Farringdon – Up to £50,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in Farringdon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive two-person onsite engineering team, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across building services systems.
• Complete statutory compliance checks and ensure all work is carried out safely.
• Support minor mechanical maintenance where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the site's CAFM system.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Participate in the on-call rota.

Requirements

• Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience working within commercial building maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small onsite team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Split Shift Pattern:
• 7:00am – 4:00pm
• 10:00am – 7:00pm

Call-Out

• 1 in 3 week call-out rota.
• £100 standby payment plus any applicable overtime.
