Electrical Engineering Lecturer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Electrical Engineering professional to support the delivery of high-quality education and training programmes across our engineering curriculum. The successful candidate will bring current industry experience together with the passion to develop the next generation of engineers.

Essential Skills & Experience

HNC/HND Level 4/5 qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

• Relevant industrial experience within electrical engineering, manufacturing, energy, maintenance, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation, maintenance and fault finding
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and safe systems of work
• Ability to support and develop learners in both practical and classroom settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Electrical principles and power systems

• Industrial installation and maintenance
• Fault diagnosis and testing techniques
• Motors, drives and control systems
• PLCs and automation fundamentals
• Electrical drawing interpretation and schematics
