Electrical Estimator – Building Services

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Package
Type: Permanent

A growing multi-discipline contractor specialising in facilities management, M&E services, small works and full project delivery is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction team based in Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding business delivering commercial and industrial projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Conduct take-offs and cost analysis
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Attend tender meetings where required
• Support handover to delivery teams upon project award

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator within M&E/building services
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience using estimating software desirable
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong communication and organisational skills
