YCR is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Estimator on behalf of a growing and highly respected building services contractor operating across commercial, industrial, and facilities management sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed electrical estimates for a range of projects and maintenance works.
• Reviewing tender enquiries, drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identifying opportunities to improve project value and cost efficiency.
• Supporting the bid and pre-construction process from enquiry through to submission.
• Working closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure successful project handovers.
• Monitoring market trends and material costs to maintain accurate pricing.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an Electrical Estimator position within the construction, M&E, or building services sector.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and associated project costs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commercially minded with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational abilities.
• Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office packages.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
