Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Fitter on behalf of an established manufacturing business based in Warwick.
Location: Warwick
Hours: 37 hours per week | Between 06:00 – 15:30, Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: £17.73 – £19.10 per hour, depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter with strong wiring, installation and fault-finding experience to work within a specialist vehicle manufacturing environment.
The Role
The successful Electrical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing and commissioning electrical systems on specialist vehicles, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with engineering drawings, build specifications and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble and connect electrical systems, wiring harnesses, control panels and associated components on vehicles and equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspection and commissioning to ensure systems operate correctly and safely.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment and fault-finding techniques.
- Resolve electrical issues efficiently to minimise disruption to production.
- Ensure all work meets required quality standards, engineering specifications and relevant electrical regulations.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Support production targets and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Electrician, Auto Electrician, Electrical Technician or similar.
- Experience with electrical installation, wiring and electrical assembly.
- The ability to confidently read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment.
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- The ability to work effectively within a manufacturing or production environment.
