Electrical Improver

We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to join our team on a manufacturing facility project in Widnes. Working alongside qualified electricians, you will assist with industrial electrical installation works within a busy production environment.

This role is ideal for candidates with previous industrial installation experience who are confident installing containment systems and assisting with SWA cable installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installations

• Installing containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable ladder

• Assisting with the installation, glanding, and termination of SWA cables

• Pulling, routing, and dressing power and control cables

• Installing electrical accessories and supporting equipment

• Working from electrical drawings and site instructions

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping

• Following all health and safety procedures while working within a live manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Valid ECS Card and IPAF (essential)

• Previous experience as an Electrical Improver

• Industrial or manufacturing installation experience

• Experience installing electrical containment systems

• Familiarity with SWA cable installation

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Good understanding of health and safety requirements on industrial sites

Desirable Experience

• Previous work within manufacturing or process facilities

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 40 hours per week

• Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project requirements
