Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to join our team on an industrial project in Runcorn. Working alongside qualified electricians, you'll assist with electrical installation works on a busy industrial site, helping to deliver high-quality installations safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installations
- Installing containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable basket
- Assisting with the installation, glanding, and termination of SWA cables
- Pulling, routing, and dressing power and control cables
- Installing electrical accessories and equipment
- Working from drawings and following site instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Complying with all site health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid ECS Card and IPAF (essential)
- Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on industrial or commercial projects
- Experience installing electrical containment
- Experience assisting with SWA cable installation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
Desirable
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings
- Previous experience on manufacturing or industrial sites
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime may be available
