Do you want to move into a rewarding role where you can support apprentices, pass on your knowledge, and help develop the next generation of Electrical professionals?
Join a leading College in the North East with excellent facilities, a strong Electrical provision, and a fantastic reputation for developing both learners and staff. With continued growth across apprenticeships, full-time programmes, and advanced manufacturing, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career within education.
As an Electrical Apprenticeship Skills Coordinator, you'll support Electrical apprentices throughout their programme, carrying out workplace visits, reviews, assessments, and remote support where required. You'll work closely with apprentices and employers, helping learners develop their knowledge, skills, and behaviours while ensuring they remain on track throughout their apprenticeship.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Electrician with strong all-round industry experience. You should hold a Level 3 Electrical qualification or be able to demonstrate full electrical competence through your Gold Card. 18th Edition is essential, while 2391 Inspection & Testing, Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, AV, or micro-renewables experience would be highly beneficial. Previous assessing experience is desirable but not essential, as full assessor training can be supported.
