Salary: Up to £22,061 per annum + £3,000 Specialist Skills Shortage Bonus (pro rata)

Role Overview
A leading Further Education provider in Wiltshire is seeking an experienced trade professional to join as a Part-Time Lecturer in Electrical Installation. Working 20 hours per week, you will deliver engaging practical workshop sessions and theoretical lessons across a range of electrical installation courses. Whether you are an experienced tutor or a qualified electrician stepping into teaching for the first time, full support and funding will be provided to help you gain your formal teaching credentials while you work.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach and assess learners across various levels of Electrical Installation programmes, covering both practical skills and technical theory.
Student Progression: Prepare apprentices and full-time learners for industry entry, end-point assessments, and career progression.
Workshop Management: Maintain a safe, compliant, and professional workshop environment adhering to strict Health & Safety standards.
Learner Support: Monitor student attendance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to build confidence and trade-ready skills.
Requirements
Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (Essential).
Industry Experience: Strong, current practical background in commercial, industrial, or domestic electrical installation.
Teaching Credentials: Teaching or assessing qualifications are welcomed, but not essential-unqualified candidates will be fully funded and supported to gain their qualifications on the job.
