Electrical Lecturer – AM2 Qualified

£40–£45 per hour | Long-Term Contract

We’re currently seeking an experienced Electrical Lecturer with an AM2 qualification to join a further education setting on a long-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Lecturer with a strong electrical installations background who is passionate about developing the next generation of electricians.

The Role

• Deliver engaging electrical installation theory and practical training.
• Support learner progress, achievement and career development.
• Develop learners’ technical and practical skills.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Support progression into employment, apprenticeships and further study.
• Ensure all teaching and practical activities meet relevant health & safety standards.

About You

• Proven experience as an Electrical Lecturer or teacher within Electrical Installation/FE.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
• AM2 qualification – essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for teaching and supporting learner success.
• Strong understanding of electrical health & safety.
• Relevant teaching qualification desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding, KCSIE and Prevent training.
