Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Static Site)

Overview:
Confero Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on a static site for . The role ensures electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform scheduled PPM tasks in line with site maintenance plans.
• Diagnose faults, repair, and replace electrical components as required.
• Ensure all work complies with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
• Complete maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation accurately.
• Support site audits and ensure adherence to health & safety standards.
• Liaise with site management and other engineers to maintain service continuity.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS 7671) certification – essential.
• Proven experience in both reactive and PPM environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Ability to work independently on a static site.

Desirable:

• Experience in commercial or industrial building maintenance.
• Additional qualifications such as testing & inspection (2391).
