Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: City of London

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across a range of electrical and building services systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and associated building services plant.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain critical building systems.
  • Support HVAC, UPS, generators, LV systems and other M&E equipment.
  • Update maintenance records and CAFM systems accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
  • Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
  • 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Previous experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management or building services.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Experience working on critical or corporate environments would be advantageous.
