Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: City of London
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a prestigious commercial site in the City of London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and fault finding across a range of electrical and building services systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical and associated building services plant.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime.
- Monitor and maintain critical building systems.
- Support HVAC, UPS, generators, LV systems and other M&E equipment.
- Update maintenance records and CAFM systems accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Supervise specialist subcontractors when required.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management or building services.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.
- Experience working on critical or corporate environments would be advantageous.
