We've got a standout role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Surrey! This is a great role if you're looking to avoid the commute into London, work for a well renowned building service provider and receive valuable career progression.
Our client is offering a salary of up to £47,000, parking on site, LVAP training, optional callout, plenty of overtime and the chance to progress further within the business.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on site, fault find / troubleshoot, diagnose faults, update site logbooks, liaise with contractors and ensure the client is satisfied with the service provided.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- Carry out electrical PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance through a helpdesk system.
- Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical equipment and systems.
- Undertake electrical installation and repair works where required.
- Carry out general building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC and mechanical tasks.
- Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and to the required performance standards.
- Monitor contractors and their workmanship when required.
- Issue Permits to Work and ensure relevant standards and procedures are followed.
- Provide a professional service and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Work as part of a wider facilities management team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
Electrical Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Level 2 / 3 in Electrical Installations / Engineering (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent)
- At least 3 years experience in commercial building services
- Live in commutable distance to site
- Client facing
Salary and Package:
- £47,000 per annum
- Parking on site
- LVAP training
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Optional call out
- 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
