Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client, in Pollington. This is a state of the art manufacturing facility with automated machinery. The Person:

• Experienced within a manufacturing environment. 
• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical).
• Have worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Multi-skilled Maintenance Electrician. 
• Experience with automated machinery.
• Ambitious, Motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team.

The Role:

• Ensure that all machinery and equipment is fully operational and in optimal condition
• Be actively involved in the ongoing development and use of the Maintenance management system
• Maintain accurate record of all works carried out
• Manage and monitor contractor activity when required to ensure they are working to the site contractor management policy and their written risk assessments and method statements.
• Produce approval to work and permit to work documentation for contractors or in house activities
• Promote and implement improvements in our site engineering to maximise efficiencies
• Adhere to H&S and environmental requirements
• Utilise the sites digitalisation tools as part of the everyday engineering tool kit

This role is working core hours of 8am until 5pm, with an on call rota 1 in 6. The salary for this role is up to £49,000. For more information contact Shaun Treacy at Questech Recruitment.
